It’s Time, Let’s Empower Spartan Excellence!
It’s time to come together as a vibrant community during our 4th Annual Damien Week of Giving - showing your unwavering support as we embark on a journey together. We are Empowering Spartan Excellence.
This past year, the Spartan wrestling team excelled in many ways. First, the team finished 2nd in league and in the top 8 in the CIF Duals. We had 2 Spartans take League Championships and 7 qualify for the CIF tournament. 3 advanced to the Masters tournament held at Palm Springs High School, and our 285lbs wrestler placed 6th. A majority of the team is returning next season which means the Spartans will be in the hunt to knock off the defending league champs next year.
The wrestling program has been blessed with its own practice facility. The building went up 4 years ago, allowing the team to move mats in and practice. Since then, there have been continuous upgrades such as lockers installed, a coaches lockers room built and most recently interior walls installed. The program has plans to add multiple items to support the development of our wrestlers. We would like to mount pull up bars, install a rope pulley system, install takedown dummies and install a fan or HVAC system. Additionally, we’ve grown the Damien Wrestling Classic Tournament to something that no other school in California has done. Next season, we will be hosting a 64 man bracket for the boys tournament and 16 bracket girls tournament. We have multiple schools from out of the state that will be competing in this spectacular event. To continue to build and do this we need your support.
In other words, your generosity directly celebrates everything that Damien High School Wrestling program has to offer and makes this life-changing experience possible!

We are excited to see how the Damien community will rally for our students the next 7 days, and we want you to be a part of this campaign. Participating in the Damien Week of Giving will show the love you have for Damien and share that love with the next generation of Spartans.
