About
Support the Damien Mountain Bike Team During Our Week of Giving!
Thanks to the incredible support of our community last year, we raised $10,000 to purchase team bikes. These bikes have made a tremendous difference—giving students access to the sport when they couldn’t afford a bike of their own and serving as loaners when team bikes are in the shop. You’ve helped us remove barriers and keep our riders rolling, and we are deeply grateful.
Team Bikes from 2024 Fundraiser
This year, our goal is to raise another $10,000 to invest in the infrastructure that supports our team—tools, training equipment, and shared resources that benefit every rider. Specifically, we’re hoping to fund:
- Bike trainers to warm up before races and train during inclement weatherdd
- Bike trainers to warm up before races and train during inclement weather
- Essential tools for repairs and upgrades
- Bike racks and stands for safer transport and efficient maintenance
- Team tents and equipment for race-day support and shelter
- Improvements to our storage facilities, which are currently cramped and limiting team growth
The Damien Mountain Bike Team is more than just a competitive program—we’re a community. We welcome riders of all skill levels from Damien High School, St. Lucy’s, and Pomona Catholic and local middle schools. With over 40 student-athletes, we teach not only racing skills, but resilience, responsibility, and teamwork. Whether it’s a first-year rider finishing their first race or a seasoned racer aiming for the podium, every athlete deserves the support and resources they need to grow.
Your donation helps build that foundation. Whether you’re a parent, alum, sponsor, or friend of the program, you’re part of our cycling family. Help us continue to build a program where every student has the opportunity to ride, compete, and thrive as we head into our 13th year.
Let’s keep the momentum going—together, we ride stronger.
